If you don't know your wireless security key, it's not that hard to find out what it is. These instructions are fairly generic, but they should work great for clients that have Linksys routers that Wired PC Guys has set up. There are instructions at the bottom for 2Wire wireless modems. Note: We highly recommend printing out these instructions before you get started.
Linksys Wireless Router
2Wire Wireless Modem2Wire modems all have their default wireless (WEP) keys printed on the bottom of the modem. Look for a 10 digit number inside square brackets - [1234567890] - on the bottom of the modem. That's what you'll need if you're trying to connect to your wireless network. If you have a different type of router, don't hesitate to set up an appointment so we can help you out.
